Acceptable Use Policy.
Last updated 16 September 2026. What you can and cannot generate or do with LaughTrack.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") sets out what you may and may not do with LaughTrack. It is part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to follow this Policy.
2. Content you must not generate
You must not use the Service to generate, or attempt to generate, any of the following:
Content that sexualises a real person without their consent, including deepfakes or face swaps depicting a real person in a sexual or degrading context.
Content that depicts a minor (any person under 18, or under the age of majority in the relevant jurisdiction) in a sexual context, whether real or fictional.
Content that harasses, bullies, defames, or threatens a real person.
Content that a reasonable viewer would mistake for a genuine recording of a real person or real event (deepfakes presented as real).
Content that promotes, depicts, or instructs on illegal acts, including terrorism, violence, self-harm, or the production of illegal substances.
Content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
Content that impersonates another person with intent to deceive or harm.
3. Show templates are style references
Show templates in the Service describe a visual and writing style — camera grammar, lighting, set dressing, joke structure — and an archetype cast described by silhouette. They do not contain the scripts, characters, performers, or footage of any television programme.
Using a show template to generate content in the style of that show is not the same as reproducing the show. Whether a particular generation infringes anyone's rights depends on what you asked for and how you use the result. You are responsible for assessing this.
LaughTrack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by any television network, studio, or production company. Show names identify a style, the way a genre does.
4. Model providers enforce their own rules
Every generation request is sent to a model provider (Wan 3.0, Wan 3.0 Prime, MiniMax H3, or others added later) through SocialSight. Each provider applies its own acceptable-use and content policies and may reject any request for any reason.
LaughTrack does not override, retry around, or attempt to evade a provider's decision. If a provider rejects your request, the Service shows you the provider's reason verbatim.
A provider rejecting your request does not mean LaughTrack has violated these Terms. The provider's policies are independent of and additional to this Policy.
5. Prohibited conduct
In addition to the content restrictions above, you must not:
Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt the Service, its servers, the SocialSight API, or any model provider's systems.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code, algorithms, or internal workings of the Service.
Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or to spam.
Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service, except as expressly permitted by us.
Share your account credentials or allow others to access the Service through your account.
6. Enforcement
We may take any of the following actions if we believe you have violated this Policy or our Terms: warn you, suspend your access, terminate your account, disable project links, and report serious violations to the relevant model provider or to law enforcement.
Model providers may also take independent action — including rejecting requests or banning your content — under their own policies.
7. How to report violations
If you see content generated through the Service that you believe violates this Policy, or if you believe someone is using the Service to generate content about you without your consent, write to legal@laughtrack.ai with a description of the content, the project link if you have it, and your contact details.
Questions or notices: legal@laughtrack.ai. This text describes how the product works and allocates responsibility in plain language. Have counsel in your jurisdiction review it before charging customers.
